Privacy Policy

Deadpoint (formerly Crimp Block) · Last updated 7 September 2026

The short version: Deadpoint stores your email (to sign you in), the training sessions you log, and the weights you record against exercises. That's it. There is no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no location data, and your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Who this policy covers

Deadpoint is provided by Sullivan Ltd ("we", "us"), trading as Deadpoint. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: support@getdeadpoint.co.uk.

What we collect

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, browsing history, device advertising identifiers, or any data through analytics or crash-reporting SDKs — none are included in the app.

Why we collect it

Solely to run the app: to know who you are when you sign in, and to compute your next recommended session and correct working weights from your own history. Nothing here is used for advertising or profiling, and nothing is used for any purpose beyond delivering the training plan you're using the app for.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, who process it on our behalf under their own data processing agreement. Database access is protected by row-level security, so your training data is visible only to your own signed-in account — not to other users, and not readable by us without deliberately querying the database as the operator. Supabase project region: West EU (Ireland), eu-west-1 — your data is stored within the EEA.

A small on-device cache of your upcoming week is also stored locally on your phone (in the app's private storage and, if you use it, the home-screen widget's shared container), purely so the widget can show something before the app has had a chance to refresh it. This never leaves your device.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, contact us at support@getdeadpoint.co.uk — deleting the underlying account record removes your session log and weight log with it (they're linked to it directly, not kept separately). We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, UK GDPR / EU GDPR gives you the right to:

To exercise any of these, email support@getdeadpoint.co.uk.

Subscriptions and payment

If you subscribe to Deadpoint, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your card details — Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment information.

Children

Deadpoint is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
